Look Out Michael Phelps!
Sam was in his first swim meet at Delta State today. We were so nervous and excited....
Here he is about to go off the blocks for the very first time.....
And he's off!.......
Getting some last minute instruction from Coach Robert on his second event, the 25 yard backstroke.
Go fast Sam!
Being that Sam is new in the league, Coach Robert has not quite figured Sam out. Toward the end of the race, he was walking along side Sam as he swam and encouraging him to go faster, Sam (being the astute student that he is) stopped completely in the middle of the race so that he could hear what coach was telling him. Must not have slowed him down too much cause he still came in 3rd :)

Love the pictures! Always said swimming would be Sam's sport...Grammy's very proud of him.
