From Uganda With Love

My cousin, Colleen, and her family came for a visit all the way from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas this week. They have a big ole family with 4 kids, and when that was added to my 2, it made for LOTS of noise and LOTS of fun!!

You see, the Jobes haven't always been a rowdy crowd...... This time last year the only children they had were these two sweeties.....

Addy.......

And Jane.......

But in November of last year, they added 2 new additions to their clan.... Joseph, and Matthew. They came to our family all the way from Uganda, and we are so happy to have two new Parkes' to add to the mix......

This was our first introduction to the boys and we had so much fun with them.....My boys really loved them, and let me tell you..... I just couldn't kiss on them enough.....(I'm sure they are already calling me "the Weird Aunt" by now..... :)

I mean, just look at those squishy cheeks!! They are just perfect for kissing.... You too Ben :)

I really didn't understand the whole "overseas adoption" thing when The Jobes first started talking about it.....

but I get it now....

How could something that is such a blessing be so hard to understand?...

I'm telling you, Russ better watch out, cause I just might have to hop on a plane and get me a kid or two more of my own....

That's gonna make him sweat :)

I mean, these kids are rock stars....

They speak with the cutest accents..... and the girls love them.....

Notice all the girls in the background watching them??? Go ahead scroll back up and see that I'm right......

Told ya..... It was that way everytime they went off the dive, of course I didn't notice it till I got home and started editing my pics :)

Starting to see a trend here?......

Nevertheless, the boys are handling it all real well and staying grounded :) They even manage to misbehave occasionally and get into mischief...... just like all normal 3 -4 year old American boys.......

And did I mention that they love their daddy......

Meanwhile Addy and Jane are still as sweet and precious as ever.......

As much fun as they were, I guess I will continue to be happy raising my two boys and will just have to make more of an effort to see the Jobes as often as I can........

I mean, this one's pretty sweet and squishy too :)
